Greg has a passion for healing. He is a graduate of the 3000 hour program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy, and has been practising since 2010. Greg believes that every treatment should address the unique needs of the individual patient. In order to do so, he focuses on assessment to understand each person’s condition and treat it accordingly. Greg is committed to having patients leave his care feeling better than when they came in.
Testimonials:
“I have very tight shoulders and upper back along with TMJ and neck pain (due to multiple whiplash incidents, desk work, cycling, running and of course stress and age!). Greg initially took the time to really assess and understand my treatment needs, even researching techniques not often used to make progress towards releasing some of my stubborn muscles. He also helped motivate me to seek out some additional treatments again (IMS, active release chiro). His manner and technique are professional, confident, highly skilled, personable, and super comfortable. I highly recommend Greg if you are seeking an exceptional RMT in the Tri Cities.” ~Claire, 40s, former marathon runner

She has been working as a French Immersion Teacher in the Coquitlam School District for 7 years, and strongly values the connections she has built with her students. She is a lifelong learner and continues to learn from both her students and her clients’ perspectives. Krystin has also worked as a lifeguard for over 15 years.
As a registered Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Counsellors, Krystin strongly values the special relationship that is developed in a therapeutic setting and considers it a privilege to support her clients. She will meet you at your level and create a safe space for you to move forward at your pace.
Krystin’s passion in counselling is to create a healthy relationship based on connection, trust, optimism, and safety, while always using a person-centred approach. She believes that all people are resilient, and counselling can be a great first step towards positive change in your life. Krystin’s experience teaching and work with youth struggling with anxiety and depression inform her practice. Gabrielle Rougeau

RCC
Gabrielle was born and raised in the Lower Mainland and has taught French Immersion for the past 10 years in Coquitlam. Currently, along with her private practice, she is a school counsellor working with children, families, teachers, special education assistants, and administrators. Before teaching, she worked as a trainer for first responders and office staff. She has a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia and is excited to be applying her skills here at TCIT. Her goal for counselling is to build a strong therapeutic relationship and establish a safe space where her clients feel comfortable to share.
Gabrielle’s first experience with counselling was as a client and what she enjoyed about the process was the ability to talk through her problems and learn more about herself in a supportive environment. As a therapist, teacher, and human she values connection and relationships. She lives by the principle “laughter is the best medicine”, enjoys meeting new people, and prioritizes putting people at ease. She loves a good conversation and has experienced giving and taking dialogue in therapy as a positive thing. She is a straight talker who will always be honest with you in a caring and non-judgmental way.
Gabrielle approaches her therapy through a person-centred and feminist theory perspective and is an LGBTQA+ ally. She has experience working with children, teens, and adults struggling with anxiety and depression. She is drawn to theories such as CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, and positive psychology to help guide her clients. It’s important to her to be continuously growing and learning from others, including challenging herself to embrace perspectives she may not have previously considered. She is continuing to develop her expertise as a life-long learner and is flexible in her modalities, pivoting to what best meets her client’s needs.
“My job is to create space for you to explore your experiences while feeling connected and supported. I know each person has their unique gifts, experiences, and challenges and I am here to be your companion on the road to discovery. I hope we can meet and connect to create a plan for your healing and self-discovery together.”
